The Jaguar F-Type Coupe is #GoodToBeBad
Back in November we revealed that the Jaguar F-Type Coupe was going to feature in an advert – Rendezvous – during the Super Bowl in the US as Jaguar look to bring attention in the States to perhaps the most impressive Jaguar in a generation or two. Focusing on the predilection of Hollywood directors to cast British actors as villains, the new F-Type Coupe Super Bowl advert features Sir Ben Kingsley, Tom Hiddleston and Mark Strong as archetypal British villains, with the new Jaguar F-Type front and centre. The advert suggest that Brits make the best villains because they sound right, are more focused, more precise, always one step ahead, have a certain style, an eye for detail and are obsessed by power.
New Volvo XC40
The Volvo XC40 is the next stage in Volvo’s XC adventure and it looks like it will debut – at least as a concept – at the Paris Motor Show. We’ve know for some time that Volvo are planning to extend their range of SUV come crossover vehicles, and a little brother for the XC60, XC70 and XC90 is the direction. We did think, until it became clear that Volvo’s new baby would be the V40 and not the V30, that the next instalment for the XC would be the XC30.
The Renault Twizy Sport F1 concept has been unveiled at Renault's plant in Vallalodid, Spain. A collaboration between both Renault Sport F1 and Renault Sport Technologies, the concept sits on the wheels of a single-seater racecar and features a front splitter, side-pods, a rear wing and a diffuser with an F1-style rain light. When looking at the concept, which measures in at 2,600mm long, 1,490mm wide and 1,450mm high, the tires are one of the first things you see, and are the same as those fitted to the Formula Renault 2.0 single-seater.
